Chewy Brownie Cookies

Ingredients

• ⅔ cup Crisco Shortening
• 1½ cups firmly packed Light Brown Sugar
• 1 tbsp Water
• 2 Eggs
• 1½ cups Flour
• ⅓ cup Unsweetened Baking Cocoa
• ¼ tsp Baking Soda
• ½ tsp Salt
• 2 cups (12 oz pkg) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine Crisco, brown sugar, water, and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Add eggs. Combine flour cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed until blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Place on ungreased baking sheet Bake 7-9 minutes. Makes 3 dozen.
